Additional Ontel HANDYS-CD6 Wireless Light Switch Information
|
Handy switch is a wireless light switch you can use to control any lamp in your home with a remote control device.
Each Handy Switch comes with a switch and remote receiver you can activate in one simple step. Just plug the receiver into an outlet, and then plug your lamp into the receiver!
Handy Switch works by sending a signal to the receiver, telling it to turn the power on or off, when you flick the switch. Plus, each switch also comes with a special adhesive that lets you stick your Handy Switch to any surface, then remove and re-use it in any location you choose.
Handy Switch only works with lamps or other devices that plug into the wall. The range is approximately 60 feet, and the radio frequency it uses will penetrate walls.

What Customers Say About Ontel HANDYS-CD6 Wireless Light Switch:

I now have an instant lightswitch with such ease a child could do it. I own a very old home and didn't have the money to put in new electricity and walls in one of my bedrooms. This was the perfect solution. And there's no mess to live with. I would definitely buy this product again with no questions.
This lasted all of 6 months then the sensor in the plug-in adapter died and it was useless.
I tried other lamps, other outlets, and just the nightlight feature by itself. I plugged a lamp into this product flipped the switch and the light came on. I then flipped the switch again to turn it off and nothing happened. Each time I plugged it in, I was able to get it to turn on once, but that was it. Maybe I could get a replacement that would work but I don't feel like messing with it.
It worked for a few weeks and then suddenly stopped working. I thought it was a battery problem. So, i replaced the battery. But, it is just dead.
The handy switch is aptly named. Have 3 and they all work great.
